Well as the original poster let me say that maybe 300 million was too big a numbeer.....But

all your small TVs you take on vacattion , out in the backyard to watch the ballgame or have in your RV or SUV will be worthless without a converter,
and I have never heard of a battery powered or 12v converter,

Plus yes I am on over the air antennas,

My rant is that 1000s of TVs were sold at Walmart etc this Christmas without these converters , and will be worthless , unless you go out and get a converter,

So saying you cannot get a non digital TV is wrong , you can buy then everywhere and later buy the "converter"

I think all TVs sold now should be digital ready , without an extra converter box needed later ,

At least now you know,,,,
