I just returned from a week in Boston (this has got to be one of my favorite cities), left before the snow hit! Anyway, I noticed on my baggage tag and the receipt on my boarding pass folder, the letters "STBY". Does it mean stand by? I was confirmed on all flights, and got my Medallion upgrade from ATL to PDX. (BOS to ATL was on a DL Shuttle aircraft, for whatever reason). I have had this on other tags too. Any idea would be great, just to solve my curiosity!! Thanks!
