If you put your racket in a bin lengthwise, though, it may get crushed by a rollaboard. It always gets me annoyed when an oddly shaped piece that's poorly stowed takes over several other passenger's bin space... Maybe you will get lucky and have a flight w/o overstuffed bins, or maybe they can keep it in a closet for you...
