I am the same way. I use my *wood Amex primarilly, since you earn 1 starpoint per dollar, yet can transfer 20,000 Starpoints for 25,000 AA miles. I do however carry an AA Citi-MC for those vendors who just will not get on the AMEX train. I rarely ever go back to merchants who do not accept AMEX.
