As for 331 days vs. last minute availability, I don't even see that the two are related in that, if you offer seats at the 331 day window then you don't get last minute availability or alternately, if you can on occasion find last minute seats, that means the end to 331 days.

Last minute availability occurs when the inventory is there and DL knows it won't sell it completely. It has very little to do with the handful of seats assigned 11 months out.

If the PR spin Dr's are figuring to pit the last minute "young/hip" against the stodgy "331/planners" to deflect attention here...well then well done.
