That's a cry for help if I ever heard of one. Really, as it's been said, 20 minutes in EWR is nothing. The big thing is, did you get to your destination on time? And it's completely possible the agent wasn't expecting a delay, but something caused it.

Seriously, this is par for the course and if it really bothers you that much, you really should reconsidering flying.
