Sorry if I misunderstood you. I didn't mean that you would vacation in Ecuador during your 1.5 connection. I meant that you are traveling to Ecuador (Galapagos Isles) and it seemed you were asking if you could bypass immigration to leave Ecuador. I was just saying you can't. In the USA you just leave, but in Ecuador you must pass through and get your passport stamped to leave.
