DLMedalliongold, at the risk of being deemed politically incorrect, your post reminded me of the battered wife syndrome. You want to point out all the marvelous changes in things like the website and so forth. But your post ignores the plain and simple fact that the only times you will be able to use your miles on DL is when there are cheap fares available for purchase. Like Indufan, I also thought several of your points to be contradictory and internally inconsistent.

This thread is about grading Jeff's contribution to this board, not about the merits of the changes. So your reply, in addition to the other criticisms, is a bit off the topic.

As for the topic of this thread, I wish Jeff posted more frequently but I realize that is not his day job. That said, Delta should have an official internet board presence on a frequent basis, providing information and insight in a manner similar to the role that RussAtl played several years ago.
