I'm traveling to Bangalore (BLR) via Paris (CDG) from Cincinnati (CVG) around 3rd week of Jan 2008 by DL 44 (to Paris), and DL 8461 (to Bangalore). DL 44 (Delta) arrives Paris at 9:50AM CET (paris local time) and connecting flight DL 8461 (Air France) departs at 11:00AM CET.

This is my first travel in this route and I'm not a frequent traveller, so please help me with answers for the questions:

• Is transit time 1 hr 10 mins sufficient to catch the connecting flight?
• during 3rd week of Jan 2008, I believer weather at CVG and CDG will be much more unpredictable so is it good idea to proceed with this schedule?
• If in case I miss the connecting flight (due to weather conditions OR other reasons for, what should I do interms of obtaining the next flight and for any compensation if available? Since both flights are different is there any thing I should know?
