HELLO Nathan 75,

Most airlines restrict travel at 36 weeks, but are "concerned" after 32 weeks, so they, TG, will do everything possible to make your wife very confortable.

Call into your Thai office @ 145 Eagle Street, Brisbane, and the staff will allocate a seat for you.

Silver is good and ensures you extra benefits, but don't get to carried away, as TG like all the airlines want you to travel more so the real "we will spoil you rotten" happens when you hit gold, but that's one hell of a lot of travel.

How does standby upgrade work. Discuss this with TG when you call in as they will amend the booking to show that is what you will be doing. At the airport go to the station manager's office area towards the end of the check in counters or directly to the business class checkin. If there is availability they will charge you a nominal fee to upgrade on the day. This will make the flight easier for your wife, she will have a lounge (Air New Zealand) to relax in prior to departure and the extra space in c/j on the 747 will certainly be appreciated this trip. The check in at the airport opens 3 hours prior to departure. Do hope I have been of help regards bkkrop
