Like anything else, there will be huge amounts of hot air over how these new technologies are threatening the very foundations of our way of life, until five years later when we realized there is nothing new these technologies bring that we haven't had before in magazines, portable devices, conversation, and everything else in real life. Fortunately humans have not yet become totally incapable of adapting.

This IS going to bring some interesting business tactics into play, however. When you have a captive audience with a controlled media source, that will then open up huge opportunities, for better and for worse, for the airlines. How will they be able to use this as a profit making venture? How will they be able to control and manage content and advertising? How will they handle privacy issues ?
