AA does not generally do status matches - they offer Challenges, as per the "sticky" thread above. Your best bet with no AA status is to check in at SEA and ask for the exit row - it is possible AAdvantage members with status and upgrade requests will vacate exit row seats and you may be able to claim them at check-in in SEA.
Does AA do a status match? Being PLAT on AA, I requested a status match on AS early this year and it only took a couple of days to be reflected. If AA also does this, you could then select emergency rows.
