Seems like with the schedule reductions, United has put more "big" planes on the hub routes .. at least ORD-SFO and ORD-LAX in my personal experience. Upgrading seems more likely on the 744 with 73 business-class seats vs 8/12/24 first-class seats on the narrowbodies. Not to mention the greater comfort and room of business-class
