The real question seems to be "Can I let my friend use my address to apply for a credit card?" The application may fail because the address on the application will not match the address in the applicant's credit file, but I have used my work address to apply for personal cards.

You might receive more constructive responses if you mentioned why your friend "cannot" apply for a card using his or her own address.
