SYDNEY to MELBOURNE (SYD-MEL) on Qantas 747-400 in business class
I walked fast to transfer security. There was a modest queue and with less frequent travellers travelling it took longer than normal for the number of people ahead of me. Then up to the lounge for a quick shower and catch up on my messages. Boarding was soon called and I headed to the nearby gate. It was showing as final call, but passengers continued to board for about 15 minutes after I did.
The flight is very empty. I had the mini cabin almost to myself. We depart late but not so late that we can't arrive on time thanks to schedule padding.
A light snack was served. Sorry no menu but IIRC it was a choice of sandwich or tart, plus tea coffee juice or water.
We arrived just a few minutes late.
