A trip in January may give me the opportunity to buy it there, but then it's a question of whether the warranty is international or only through the country of sale.
If Apple doesn't have a slim/flash MacBook coming out in January, I'll be interested to see if the EEE PC is cheaper in SIN than Oz!
(BTW have you read of anyone getting Tiger or another MacOS running fully and normally on the EEE PC?)
Download the Uphuck release of OSX from some of the 'usual sources' (think Jolly Roger). The Eee uses integrated graphics which OS X is just fine with... someone's already installed OSX happily on it. I believe the internal WiFi is even seen as an Airport Express.
Incidentally, I rebuilt the kernel and now have Linux seeing the full 2gb. I installed Beryl but wasn't happy with it. I'll try again when I have more time.
