...? Just because the Ombudsman position is gone, it doesn't mean that the role of the Ombudsman doesn't exist anymore. The CTA is still in charge for all the functions the Ombudsman and his/her office did. So nothing has changed. So don't twist that fact.

10 other people. Fine. 100 complaints x 10 = 1000. How many pax? Still a miniscule percentage.

Exactly. It's compensation. It's not RIGHTS!!! Don't get those two things confused. Rights <> compensation. Passengers have the right to know the tariff rules. Passengers have the right to seek recourse, etc etc etc.

But anyway, if you feel so strongly about it, write your MP or the Minister of Transport.
