Flight YYZ-HKG accepted without problem. Aeroplan would not process NRT-YYZ leg because "This flight request cannot be processed online as it is a non dcs origin. "
Why should it matter whether the flight is a domestic or non-domestic origin? Don't you just love AC IT!

On the online mileage credit request, there is a list of airports that it won't work for. If you carefully examine that list, you will see that most or all of those airports are the ones that don't have actual AC counters with AC computers (I guess you would only know if you've been to that airport to check-in for an AC flight, or you learned about it on FT). That's why it matters.
