On the other hand LH also seem to think that service consistency is a good idea and that constant cheese-paring of the product is likely to put off potential PAX, so that apart from the seat the overall F experience with LH just feels higher quality. I just cannot see BA pulling off the same thing, if for no other reason than it seems to run completely against the approach for the last 5 years.
BA seem much more willing to invest in hard rather than soft product, so I won't hold my breath for improvements on the ground, after all some things would not be so difficult to deliver now (e.g. decent service in the CR or F Lounge).
