I am neither a medical doctor nor a law expert. But I would suspect that a M.D. cannot expect payment for emergency services while being out of his/her regular working environment. However, he/she probably would face serious punishment if he/she denies medical aid in such a situation.

However, as I mentioned, I am not an expert and this comes basically out of my belly.
