PC access on a CO codeshare with non-skyteam parner (J class)

First off - sorry for the length. But here goes:

Last month I was on a flight from TPE-LAX on AA - this being an AA flight # codeshared with EVA. As noted in the title it was a J ticket. Ran into some problems when we tried to use the Admirals Club and were denied access due to fact that even though our tickets were on an AA flight number - EVA wasn't Oneworld - see this thread:

http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=757671

Resolution to that whole mess was that the AAgents were wrong and that AA clearly states that J class ticket holders (on AA codeshared EVA flights) were welcome. Unfortunately I hadn't read that before I left - I only made the assumption that it was an AA flight number which *should* (in my mind) have allowed us in.

So what's the problem?

Next month I am scheduled to go back to Taiwan. This time (thankfully) on CO. I am ticketed with all CO flight #s in J. And yes, the international legs will be the EVA codeshare. I don't want to run into the same problem where I am denied access b/c EVA is non-Skyteam. One would think since it is a CO flight number then there should be no problems with access. But I cannot find this spelled out clearly on the CO website as it was on the AA website.

I will mention that my dilema was discussed briefly here (below link) but am interested in a bit more input. I'd like to be ready to handle the "denied entry" situation if it does arise. CO Insider - feel free to chime in.

TIA!
