I recently took a flight in W, upgraded into A with a VIP.. points posted as if I'd booked into A, so I got 1.5 EQP instead of 1. This isn't the first time that's happened with VIP/sticker upgrades this year.. and nothing has been adjusted. I think you'll be fine!
