This is probably a dumb question, but I don't want to be left ten miles short of PLT on Jan 1.

I just took a RT on AA, JFK - SFO, booked in economy as "O" fare. I upgraded using 500-mile upgrades. I expected to receive EQPs equal to 0.5 times the base miles, but the flights showed up in my account as "Y" fare and I received 1.0 times the base miles. As a result, I have hit the 50k EQP PLT threshold.

The question is this: when AA runs my monthly account summary, will they drop my EQPs to the 0.5 times number, or is what is now shown in my account correct? If they will reduce it by half, I won't have 50k EPQs and need to make arrangements to get those extra miles...
