I am considering buying a new MacBook computer from Apple, which is a OnePass Online Retail Partner. I can earn 2 miles per dollar spent at the Apple Store, and with the one miles per dollar from my Continental MC, it looks like I could earn about 3,000 miles in this transaction.
My question is: the CO and/or Apple website(s) rely on cookies to link my purcahse to my OnePass number. I'm a student, and I'm also interested in using the "Education Store" on apple.com and saving $100 on this purchase. The Education Store also uses cookies, and I'm worried that when I click on the Education Store link, the link to my OnePass number will go away.
My question is: is it possible
from a technical standpoint to earn CO miles using the Apple Education Store? Has anyone had success with this? I am worried that if it doesn't work, Continental will
not entertain my requests for a mileage credit.
