I am looking at an itinerary with tight connecting time to BR LAX-TPE flight. Evaair.com shows flights originating from TPE as eligible for on-line check-in but says nothing about flights originating from the US. Does anyone has experience with this issue?

I also need to interline my baggage from CO to BR at LAX. Will I have difficulty with this if I cannot do on-line check-in for BR? My itinerary will not have enough time for me to check baggage with BR at LAX. Thanks for you input! This is my first attempt at booking separate itineraries on different carriers for international travel.
