avis first was started after my departure, but I am assuming that like its predecessor programs, the Avis First program will be evaluated on two specific dates in time, every year, not necessarily the first.

Assuming it was the first, they would look at your last 12 months rentals and you would qualify for a program based on that date.

it was October 15th in the preferred select counters. on October 15th, they would determine your elibility and send out packets over the next couple months.
