Yes, I could have gone into the long list of exceptions about what AA considers international (but, that would have, undoubtedly, led to someone asking about lounge access in those cases - which AA, again, has a funny way of sorting that out in some cases) ... so, I just left it at 500 mile upgrades aren't for international itineraries.

So, let me say this - for most international itineraries - stickers cannot be used. In this context, I'm considering "international" to mean what most people do - flying from one country to another country
