There was an earlier issue with DTMF tones (how you select options). It sounds as if you are reaching the main number.
Please ensure you are using the latest version of Skype but also check you can't get a better deal elsewhere from UK! Skype charges £0.012 + connection fee £0.033 inc VAT.
I use
18185 which is at least as cheap and uses a regular phone
