Pat is correct, that
good RCC CSRs can do just about anything to monitor how one stands on the DMS. But it's significant that much of Pat's experience is at the SEA station, where the RCC CSRs are known to go out of their way.
I've had RCC people at other stations call the gate repeatedly to keep track of the upgrade or mechanical situation. I've had them print out my F class boarding pass numerous times. And I have had them send me scurrying to the gate when they realized that the gate agent was going to need to see me standing at the podium to score the upgrade. It all depends.
