I have stayed at the 4P Sydney many times but this is the first as a Plat so I thought I'd give a few details. Was upgraded from a standard room to Darling Harbour view suite on a high floor. Amenity was offered and points have already posted. Went out for a while and returned to find a bottle of wine, cheese, biscuits, packet of fruit & nuts and a note from the manager. Nice touch. The room looked a little worn (mainly the carpet) but was very clean and comfortable and had a great view from 2 large windows. I requested and received 2.30pm check-out.

We had dinner at the restaurant one night and lunch at the pub another day. The chef and waiters are a credit to the hotel. Good quality, fresh food.

Generally the staff at this hotel are wonderful, very friendly and obliging. I found the same on this stay with one exception and I am kicking myself for not taking note of her name and commenting on it. Not because I want to complain as such, but because the other staff are just so good, it seems a shame that one grouchy person lets the team down. I'll make sure to follow up if it ever happens again.

We have always enjoyed our stays at this hotel and it just gets better as a Plat . It has a warm, comfortable atmosphere and we are really looking forward to our upcoming stay on Australia Day.
