Try Expedia, or try ba.com with the country set to Italy, or try calling BA in Italy. Here is an example from Expedia with a 7 day stopover:

£1,973.20

12:00 Depart Milan (LIN)
Arrive London (LHR) 13:00 Wed 6-Feb
Duration: 2hr 0min British Airways 565

21:30 Depart London (LHR)
Arrive Bangkok (BKK) 15:40 +1 day Thu 14-Feb
Duration: 11hr 10min British Airways 9

00:10 Depart Bangkok (BKK)
Arrive Milan (LIN) 10:35 Wed 20-Feb
Duration: 16hr 25min British Airways 10 / 564

The price without the stopover is £1,893 - or £1,730 if you pick different dates, eg outbound on the 7th not 14th.
