IMHO, BA telephone sales / reservations is possibly the worst part of the organisation (sorry Bukhara - whilst you are fantastic and actually know what you are talking about, many of your colleagues have a long way to go to reach your level of knowledge and expertise). Fortunately my experience with BA ticket desks is extremely positive and they always manage to sort me out there and then.
What traveloguy said, any problems like using an MCO etc i just head stright to the ticket desk as they can sort it out. Even trying to book OSL-SFO-OSL 9months in advance BA telesales said there was no I-class only C-class left and ba.com didnt work it out either, ticket desk had no problem.

Additionally i had an MCO that had gone out of date worth £580, foreign customer relations said it was not possible and should be discarded, yes Hounslow office said post it back and for £25 they revalidated for another year... idiots almost cost me £580!!
