Thanks for all the responses. I
really really appreciate all the help. In fact when I did a search on Google for hotels, this thread on FlyerTalk came up as the top hit
I decided to go with the Mercury hotel due to the location. If I procrastinate anymore, I might not get a room

I secured the last available rooms, picked the Budget room for the 21st at Y7180 and a single room for the 22nd at Y7800. The Budget room required two guests, I gave one male and one female. Too bad the female never showed up
Looked at the train schedule on
http://www.hyperdia.com/ (from the sticky on this forum). It says one has to transfer from the Toei Asakusa Line to the Keikyu Ltd.Exp. at SENGAKUJI. Will that require walking across from one line to the other or involve crossing more than one platform?
It has been a long time since I did a trip to Tokyo, looking forward to some good sushi.

You can catch the 5:06 AM Asakusa Line with thru service on Keikyu Line that gets you in Haneda at 5:40 AM. That way you will not have to spend your nights out in Kamata. Or go for the SHIBA YAYOI KAIKAN that you mentioned before.
