When I look at my itineary it shows (A) Class as being Economy on British Airways and (D) Class as being economy on AA as well, yet when I go into the individual airlines concerned, they are showing as First and Business, not economy as shown in the information.

I had that too when viewing the booking via the QF MMB service. That said, in my case, C class was showing as Economy. Fortunately the bug seems to have been resolved and now the QF MMB service is correctly showing the sector as being in Business.
It should be noted that the issue you and I are experiencing has nothing to do with the booking itself, simply the way the QF MMB service is reading the booking from the GDS. All comes down to a programmer who made a mistake and the testing team has not bothered to notice the fault.
