Alaska Miles for Delta flight operated by Air France?

I thoroughly confused a very nice Alaska agent with the following question. I'll call the mileage desk on Monday, but I bet y'all have come across this before.

I booked a Delta ticket to Turkey in L class. The Paris-Istanbul leg is a Delta codeshare operated by Air France. The Mileage Plan website states that for Air France: "Mileage is not earned for tickets flown in G, L, N, and U classes of service." But, since this is a "Delta flight" could I earn Alaska miles, since on Delta class of service does not matter for getting Alaska mileage?

I searched and found a somewhat related Thread, but the conditions were not identical.
