Reporting from the Executive Lounge on the Butler floor at the Istanbul Conrad.

Award stay for 4 nights at a point stretcher price of 18K points per night - Diamond.

Checked in really late last night, ~12:30am. Checked in at the front desk. Received a very nice upgrade to the butler floor (15) with a nice view of the river. Not the best view, but nice enough. Full use of the lounge and free breakfast at the restaurant on the 14th floor.

The room is somewhat small but very functional. Everything seems in great shape. Perhaps the tv could be flat screen but no biggie. The bathroom is good size. The hotel is immaculate, at least from what I have seen so far.

The agents I have deal with at the front desk and the Exec lounge are very helpful.

I really don't understand some of the earlier posts but perhaps the hotel was refurbished recently. Very nice.

Location is not the best but it's not the worst either. I walked to Taksim Square this morning and it took me about 15-20 minutes.

2 complaints. Internet is very expensive and so are the drinks. Just get your own booze and use the free internet in the lounge. 2 LG desktops.
