Any ideas about Mince Pies ? Am going to the US in a day or so and he wants some M&S ones for Christmas but I think the fruit inside them will be too much (for the FDA) and I'll have to bin them at the point of entry?

Anyone venture an opinion whether I will get these in after passing them through inspection in the US ?
I was also wondering if Mince Pies would be allowed in hand luggage, is mincemeat a liquid or gel? I am resigned to packing the brandy butter
