Another property to consider, though I have yet to stay, would be the Sukhothai.
I haven't stayed at the FS, but it was recently redone and looks really nice according to the website. The thing I don't like about it though is it's not on the river. I just love waking up and looking out onto the river and having breakfast outside and all.

The Sukhothai has also been redone, I believe. Celadon, their restaurant, is possibly the best Thai restaurant in the country. GO THERE FOR DINNER. Service, though, is mediocre.
