The loungeguide.net page sums it up about as well as I could.

Main points, I guess:

- It was very busy when I arrived (approx. 11:00 for a 12:25 SQ departure)... Not very many places left to sit except on bar-stools at tables. A bunch of pax cleared out around 11:45 - not sure which flight they were related to.
- They photocopy your boarding pass on entrance. Mine was stamped by the AC MLL with "PLAZA OVERFLOW" or something like that.
- The alcohol was by request, but as it was at 11am I didn't try anything [and a big night the night before].
- There was a surprisingly wide selection of food - some hot, some cold. It seemed to be a mix of breakfast and lunch type foods. Included fresh fruit etc.
- Has a view of the gate area/tarmac.
- WiFi was provided by YVR itself from what I could tell. Free, though.

All in all an OK lounge - I haven't been to the AC MLL so I couldn't compare it - but I might be revisiting YVR Intl. in January.
