I was at CDG on 02/08, flying CDG-YYZ on AC881. That day our flight was cancelled at the gate so I stood begging and pleading to be put on the AF flight to YYZ that was leaving a few minutes later from the gate next to us. Was ticked off when they said no, especially because I was in J and needed to get home. So went back to the MLL, had another drink, and left the terminal as AF358 was pushing back. Was beyond belief seeing the aircraft the next day in ashes as we flew over on the connection to YUL. Everyone who knew I was travelling thought it was me. What a day.
