I have now booked 777 out and 747 (overnight) back. I was assigned 1A in both ... but checking seatguru, 2A (or K) is recommended for the single traveller on the 747 ... so a follow up question, if you please ... do I want the "exclusivity" of 1A or the more "private" and "quiet" recommendation of seatguru?
