No doubt the honeymooners will have the opportunity to take full advantage of the fact that the armrest can be raised. In combination with the generous recline and guaranteed privacy far from toilets and galleys that should ensure a memorable experience.

By the way, I met somebody the other week who had actually paid for an emergency row seat for his sister. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience, so I was told. He found two seats available in an emergency exit row, but KL insisted on payment for both, even though he was GE. He therefore completed the transaction for his sister only, and then started OLCI from the beginning again for himself. Now the seat he wanted was suddenly not available any more, so he had to settle for a different row. Once at the airport it turned out that the seat he had originally wanted was not taken, so he and his sister were happily reunited for the duration of the flight, for only €100!
