Thank you, I was really hopefull that a local new yorker would be able to chime in. The incoming flight is a Jetblue flight fromportland maine, and notwithstanding ground holds they are really good at getting the 6AM flight off the ground. My main concern was the connection as the 1 hour and 30 minute connection can be destroyed by even minimal holds and I really want to try the new CX herringbone J class and not have to ride the 346 latter in the day.

As of now, the weather forecast is for rain in the city and along the coast, so you should not have an issue. And again you are landing very early, before arrival traffic heats up, so any delay getting in should be fairly minimal assuming the weather forecast remains the same.
