This is based upon past experience living particularly in NYC. Your incoming looks to be on a short hop from somewhere. Typically, a flight like that would be subject to a ground hold during bad weather, HOWEVER, that fact that it is an early morning flight should help. If we do get lousy weather here in NYC, departures may be slow down, however, once onboard not so much of an issue unless you have another connection down line internationally. You should only have real issues if we get hit by an ice storm (no significant snow is expected).
Thank you, I was really hopefull that a local new yorker would be able to chime in. The incoming flight is a Jetblue flight fromportland maine, and notwithstanding ground holds they are really good at getting the 6AM flight off the ground. My main concern was the connection as the 1 hour and 30 minute connection can be destroyed by even minimal holds and I really want to try the new CX herringbone J class and not have to ride the 346 latter in the day.
