I donated to the WSPA the other day through the PCR website; I used my debit card so that they wouldn't be hit with any charges for the card processing (I normally use a dedicated credit card with a small limit for online shopping). Today I checked my bank and there are 6 transactions from Manila, each for 10000 Pesos, roughly £120 each time.

The last time I used this debit card was before the beginning of November, and the only transaction since was to the WSPA. I contacted my bank and they have said they are looking into it, but that it appears someone within their card processing team has sold/used my details.

Just a heads up for you all to check your cards/accounts; I hope this doesn't deter anyone from charity donations in any way, but I feel for the good of us all it should be shared.
