Some casual places I like across the state:
- Zingerman's restaurants in Ann Arbor - good deli & BBQ but VERY expensive
- Redamak's in New Buffalo - good place to grab a quick burger & some fries
- Crane's Pie Pantry in Fennville - located at an apple orchard so very fresh
- Mezze / San Chez in Grand Rapids - very good tapas, etc.
- Hockeytown in Detroit - good bar food before a Tigers game
