This might be considered second nature for some travelers.. but now that United has reduced their schedules even further, there's a decent chance that one of your flights may be canceled. When you call to confirm, it's a good idea to double check with the United Electronic Timetable. Believe it or not, a customer service rep was WRONG - she told me one of my flights was okay when it was clearly shown to be discontinued.. I stopped short of calling her incompetent. Ended up calling again, speaking with another agent, and having him confirm her mistake.

Not to rag on CSRs -- they are doing a wonderful job with all this extra work of updating itineraries.. but just be cautious.
