Assuming this means you've maxed out the 100k/yr mileage accrual limit on your spending using an AAdvantage credit card for a non-elite member, can't and shouldn't you just register for a Gold Challenge and do a quick mileage run, so you can earn beyond the 100k cap?
Or do you mean the 86k breaks some other limit I don't know about?
