Agree entirely. ^

As an aside, my mum flew LH F earlier this week on LHR-FRA/x-SIN using a LH ex-UK A class ticket. (Quite similar to the "cheap" A class BA tickets ex Germany.) Her LHR-FRA flight was delayed due to adverse weather at LHR, reducing her connection time at FRA to just 21 minutes! And on top of that, the LHR-FRA flight parked at a bus gate. However, as soon as the door opened she saw a LH staff member waiting for her with a name board. That staff member grabbed her carry-on, and escorted her down the stairs to a waiting limo & driver. She was immediately driven to the waiting FRA-SIN 747 and succesfully made her connection. What's more her checked bag which had a HON tag, made the connection too!

I love BA, but IMHO it is big shame that BA can't seem to emulate the better airlines out there these days, particularly when it comes to ground services.
