I do this all the time whenever I'm flying to South America, and will be doing it now for my European flights too. Enables me to get a huge amount of extra EQMs, and I get to break up the trip so I don't feel like I'm flying so far out of my way. Plus, of course, I get to catch up with friends and spend time in our office there. All in all, a nice benefit of international routing rules. ^
